Five players scored in double figures as Florida Gulf Coast routed the University of North Florida 103-70 on Monday in an Atlantic Sun game at the Alico Arena in Fort Meyers.

 

UNF (10-15, 4-4) lost to the Eagles (17-8, 8-0) for the second time in five days.

Gulf Coast used an 18-4 binge to end the first half to take command of the game. Six players scored during the run to give the Eagles a 55-28 halftime lead.

Zach Johnson led FCGU with 16 points, and added seven rebounds and seven assists. Two Jacksonville residents made key contributions as Michael Gilmore added 14 points and 12 rebounds and Christian Terrell had 13 points and three assists.

Noah Horchler led the Ospreys with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Ivan Gandia-Rosa had 11 points and seven assists and Trip Day had 11 points off the bench,

UNF will return home to face Stetson on Saturday at 7 p.m.
