I got a board and 53 darts … Time to forecast the Jaguars’ initial 53-man roster.

OFFENSE (26)

QB (3): Blake Bortles, Chad Henne and Brandon Allen.

The Jaguars should keep Allen because if Bortles is ineffective early in the season and Henne isn’t the answer, then Allen is worth a look to see if he can be the No. 2 in 2018.

RB (4): Leonard Fournette, Chris Ivory, T.J. Yeldon and Corey Grant.

We didn’t have Grant on our first 53-man guess back in the mid-June but he emerged with a long touchdown run against New England has been first-up on kick returns in all three games.

FB (1): Tommy Bohanon.

The Jaguars signed two fullbacks with the idea they would re-introduce the position to the roster. That would make it a surprise if both are cut. Marquez Williams could be headed to the practice squad.

TE (4): Marcedes Lewis, Alex Ellis, Ben Koyack and Mychal Rivera.

We didn’t have Ellis on our initial guess but he’s been running as the No. 2 tight end in the preseason. Rivera makes the team without playing in a preseason game and his status for Week 1 in doubt.

WR (6): Allen Robinson, Marqise Lee, Allen Hurns, Dede Westbrook, Arrelious Benn and Keelan Cole.

Cole is the surprise make but his production warrants a spot. Westbrook and Cole can return punts, making the injured Rashad Greene expendable. Shane Wynn deserves a practice squad spot.

OL (8): C Brandon Linder, LT Cam Robinson, RT Jermey Parnell, RG A.J. Cann, LG Patrick Omameh, C/G Luke Bowanko, OT Josh Wells and G Tyler Shatley.

Look for the Jaguars to scan the waiver wire this weekend for reserve tackle and guard help. Whew, they should have addressed this during Day 3 of the draft. Two wild cards are Earl Watford (who’s been hurt most of camp but could enter the guard mix) and Wells (who missed practice Monday-Tuesday).

DEFENSE (24)

DL (8): DE Calais Campbell, DE Yannick Ngakoue, DE Dante Fowler, DT Malk Jackson, DT Abry Jones, DE Dawaune Smoot, DT Sheldon Day and DT Michael Bennett. We had Lerentee McCray as a defensive end in mid-June but he’s been moved to strong-side linebacker (see below). Bennett slides onto the roster despite being injured. Expect the Jaguars to investigate every nose tackle-type who hits waivers.

LB (7): Telvin Smith, Paul Posluszny, Myles Jack, Blair Brown, Lerentee McCray, Hayes Pullard and Josh McNary.

CB (5): Jalen Ramsey, A.J. Bouye, Aaron Colvin, Tyler Patmon and Brian Dixon.

Patmon and Dixon started most of the preseason. Patmon would get the edge to be active on Sundays becausehe can play inside and outside.

S (4): Barry Church, Tashaun Gipson, Jarrod Wilson and Peyton Thompson.

Once James Sample was cut early in camp, Wilson was on track to win the No. 2 SS spot and Thompson’s versatility (FS and CB) could impact the cornerback numbers.

SPECIAL TEAMS (3)

K Jason Myers, P Brad Nortman and LS Matt Overton.

Overton was signed early in camp when Carson Tinker tore his ACL.
