Jacksonville Suns lose pair to Mobile BayBears, including completion of Friday's game

The Suns (4-5 second half, 40-39 overall) took the lead in the top of the sixth when Southern League All-Star Brady Shoemaker hit a three-run home run to right-center to put Jacksonville in front 4-3 before rain forced a suspension of Friday’s game. When the game resumed on Saturday, the BayBears took a 6-4 lead with RBI singles from Jon Griffin, Garrett Weber and Sean Jamieson in the bottom of the eighth inning in Hank Aaron Stadium in Mobile, Ala. Kyle Winkler (1-0) earned the win after holding the Suns without a run on one hit with two strikeouts in his 2 2/3 innings of relief. ... In the second game, the BayBears scored the only run they needed on a leadoff homer from Sean Jamieson in the bottom of the first. Jose Urena (6-6) took the loss for Jacksonville.
