Whether Aaron Garcia ever returns to the Arena Football League won’t be Jacksonville’s problem.
The Sharks traded Garcia to the Los Angeles KISS Monday night. That team then sent quarterback J.J. Raterink to the Iowa Barnstormers, which shipped defensive lineman James McClinton to Jacksonville.
The Sharks traded five players to Orlando to get Garcia. After he skipped training camp and the first three games before reporting, Garcia was a backup for one week and a starter for another before leaving the team.
Garcia, 43, was attempting to play in his 19th season. He holds every AFL passing record, and he won the 2011 ArenaBowl with Jacksonville.
Jacksonville (3-5) will host Orlando Saturday night at 7.
The league seized control of the Predators Tuesday after managing partner David Pearsall left the team.
