Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew questionable for Sunday vs. Titans

Hays Carlyon's Blog

The Jaguars will likely be without standout running back Maurice Jones-Drew again this Sunday when Tennessee visits EverBank Field. Jaguars coach Gus Bradley listed Jones-Drew as questionable following Friday's practice.

"We'll work him out before the game to finalize that," Bradley said. "I feel better today. He was in on some run plays and he took some actual reps."

A hamstring injury suffered in a 27-20 win over Houston on Dec. 5 continues to linger. The three-time Pro Bowl back missed Sunday's 27-20 loss to Buffalo.

Jones-Drew has carried 208 times this season for 719 yards and five touchdowns. He's also caught 34 passes for 239 yards.

The 28-year-old Jones-Drew was playing his best of the season prior to the hamstring injury. He gained 348 yards of offense in the last three games he's played.

In other injury updates:

-Linebacker Geno Hayes (knee), defensive tackle Roy Miller (shoulder) and Jeremy Ebert (ankle) did not practice. Ebert was placed on injured reserve later Friday. The team signed receiver Lamaar Thomas and defensive tackle Jordan Miller off the practice squad. Hayes and Miller are considered questionable.

- Safety Johnathan Cyprien (thigh) practiced in limited fashion and is listed as probable.

Has MJD already played his

Has MJD already played his last home game as a Jaguar?

If so, what a fantastic competitor. Fierce!

Easily a candidate for the Pride of the Jaguars honor.
