Jacksonville Sheriff officers responded to the 5900 block of Longchamp Drive in reference to a possible meth lab on Sunday.
Around 6:30 p.m. police found items consistent with a meth lab in a shed in the back of the house, according to Times-Union news partner First Coast News.
Sgt. P. J. Bouda said “the residents were home, but it’s an older couple who lives at the house” and he thinks someone else has been using their shed.
The residents on both sides of the house were evacuated for safety precautions.
And our scene is clear. Cop on scene told me there was meth producing materials, but it's been cleaned up.— Jason Rantala (@jarantala) March 20, 2017
