Fort King George State Historic Site will host its annual traditional Christmas dinner from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Saturday night.
The Friends of St. George will serve the dinner by candle and lantern light in the soldier’s barracks at the fort and all proceeds will benefit the friends organization to enhance facilities and programs at the park.
The Friends promise an evening of Colonial style “jollification” and the celebration will conclude with the firing of one of the fort’s cannons.
The cost is $30 per person and reservations are required.
