CLARKSTON, GA. | The campaign of Georgia Senate candidate Michelle Nunn says the Democrat has raised about $3.45 million in the last three months, outpacing her two potential GOP opponents.
Nunn spokesman Nathan Click says more than 75 percent of the campaign’s 39,000 donors have given $100 or less. The campaign did not immediately release how much Nunn, the daughter of former Sen. Sam Nunn, has spent nor how much cash she had to start July.
Republicans Jack Kingston and David Perdue face a July 22 runoff after a crowded primary. Nunn won her primary easily. In the last three months, Kingston raised nearly $2 million while Perdue had just over $2.1 million in contributions, which included $1 million of his money.
Also on the ballot in November is Libertarian Amanda Swafford.
