Fire in engine room on Annabelle Lee forces evacuation of wedding party Saturday night in Jacksonville

A Coast Guard boat tows the disabled Annabelle Lee under the Acosta Bridge and back to its dock. The boat was disabled after a fire in the engine room Saturday night.

A fire in the engine room on the Annabelle Lee interupted a wedding party Saturday while the boat was cruising on the St. Johns River south of the Fuller Warren Bridge.

A total of 46 people were transported from the boat to safety without any injuries, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

The Coast Guard towed the boat to its dock on.

Authorites got the call that the boat was disable due to the fire about 8 p.m., according to the Coast Guard.

was this an omen or what? a marriage made in he77. glad evertone got off the boat OK. must of been one helve a wedding.
