Seven people including two children were injured in a two-car head-on crash in the 4600 block of Evergreen Avenue about 7 p.m. Thursday, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

The five adults and two children – ages 3 and 12 – suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They sustained broken bones and lacerations. It appeared the victims all had been wearing their seat belts. Investigation was ongoing to determine the cause of the crash, police said.
