It’s just a little more than a month until the Jacksonville Jazz Festival hits the downtown streets, and the lineup is taking shape. The festival will have stages at Hemming Park, on Main Street and at the Jacksonville Landing. All shows other than the Jazz Piano Competition are free.

DJ NickFresh, Jazzmeia Horn, ELEW, Damien Escobar, Lucky Chops, Catch the Groove, Freddy Cole Quartet, Jane Monheit, Jax Jazz Collective, Blake Aaron, Parker Urban Band and Marcus Anderson
Saturday, May 27
Jazz Piano Competition winner, Akia Uwanda, Roman Street, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Gregory Porter, Kamasi Washington, Leon Foster Thomas, Taylor Roberts, Morgan James, Airmen of Note, the Rippingtons, Ben Adkins, Elio’s Quartet, Stank Sauce, Allana Southerland and Clay Benjamin. A late-night jazz jam is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. at the Landing.
Sunday, May 28
UNF Jazz Ensemble I, Sorin Zlat Trio, Joey Alexander Trio, Chick Corea Trio, the Commodores, Gregory Agid Quartet, Pacific Mambo Orchestra, Bria Skonberg, Lalah Hathaway, Brandon Robertson, Brian Tarquin, the Doug Carn West Coast Organ Band and the Katz Downstairs. There is a second line jazz parade scheduled for 5 p.m. starting at the corner of Monroe and Laura streets.
