The Civic Orchestra of Jacksonville hosts a free “Celebration of Jewish Composers and Themes” concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Jacksonville Jewish Center at 3662 Crown Point Road.

The volunteer symphony orchestra, led by conductor Marguerite Richardson, will present music by Giacomo Meyerbeer, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein and others, including “Westside Story Overture.”

The non-profit classical music orchestra contains amateur and professional musicians who volunteer their time to rehearse and perform free concerts for the community. A post-concert art show will be presented.
