Sun-Ray Cinema will host a panel discussion of “Whose Streets?” on Friday following a screening of the film. The critically acclaimed documentary is about the unrest in Ferguson, Mo., in the days after the 2014 police shooting of Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager.

 

The screening will begin at 7 p.m., and the discussion is scheduled to take place immediately afterward. “Whose Streets?” is rated R and has a running time of 1 hour, 43 minutes.

Shelton Hull, a journalist at Folio Weekly, will moderate the discussion.

The other panelists are Diallo Sekou, a black grassroots activist; Jim Manfre, a former Flagler County sheriff; and Tru Leverette, an associate professor of English and director of African-American/African Diaspora Studies at the University of North Florida.
