Just 10 months after its opening, Grabbagreen has closed in Jacksonville’s Brooklyn neighborhood.
The restaurant – which offered freshly prepared grab-and-go entrees, pressed juices and smoothies – closed its doors this week at 90 Riverside Ave., part of the Fresh Market-anchored Brooklyn Station on Riverside retail center.
Grabbagreen occupied the 1,999-square-foot space between Burrito Gallery and DryBar salon in an outparcel building that also includes The Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops and Zoes Kitchen. In addition to First Watch, BurgerFi also operates a restaurant at Brooklyn Station, a development of Jacksonville-based Regency Centers.
The restaurant’s closing comes two weeks after another Brooklyn-area restaurant, Hob Nob, announced it would cease its dine-in restaurant operations to focus on private events. Hob Nob opened in 2015 in the mixed-use 220 Riverside project along with Sbraga & Company and Brixx Wood Fired Pizza. Of those, only Brixx remains open.
