Frontier Airlines resumed its seasonal service between St. Augustine’s Northeast Florida Regional Airport and Philadelphia International Airport on Friday.

The airline announced in December that the service would restart for the vacation season.

The service is scheduled to conclude Aug. 12. The flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

“We are excited to once again welcome Frontier back to the Northeast Florida Regional Airport for the spring/summer season,” said Ed Wuellner, executive director, of the airport, in a news release. “Frontier continues to provide an ideal match for our airport by offering local residents convenient access to the Philadelphia region during the spring and summer months while also allowing visitors from the northeast direct, low fare access to all that St. Augustine and the First Coast have to offer.”
