An integral part of the unprecedented Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance weekend was the Cars &Coffee at the Concours presented by Heacock Classic Insurance that took place alongside the Concours on Saturday.

The free event on the second fairway of the Golf Club of Amelia Island and MotorXpo field featured more than 400 pre-registered show vehicles, vehicle presentations and numerous celebrity appearances — such as Paul Teutul Jr. of “American Chopper.”

Having the Cars &Coffee and Amelia Concours taking place simultaneously because the latter was moved up a day due to heavy rain in Sunday’s forecast worked out quite well with an estimated crowd of 20,000 for the combined events.

“We really couldn’t have asked for a better result. Thanks to the amazing effort of our volunteer team, the transition from the main show field to the second fairway of the golf course was seamless,” said Brian Webber, Concours executive director. “In many ways, the additional Cars &Coffee vehicles enhanced the Amelia’s Concours event.”
